Reiki healing with crystals is extremely helpful in balancing chakra system. It can be done by placing a stone of appropriate color on each area. Each chakra will get an energy boost matching it own vibration without altering their energies and overall harmony of the whole system. The interaction between chakra and crystals render healthy vibration and leads to healing the affected body part. 

Different types of stones are relevant for seven chakras. You need to put a beneficial stone on each chakra and it will strengthen up the entire system. • Base Chakra: For base chakra choose a red stone and place it near the base of spine and also choose two same red stones and place those on the top of each leg.
• Sacral Chakra: Orange color stone would be best and it should be placed on the lower abdomen.
• Solar Plexus: Choose a yellow colored stone for solar plexus and place it between the ribcage and navel.

You can get started by following few simple steps:

First cleanse your crystals by placing them directly on ground under the moonlight and it should be a full moon night for best results. Get them back in the morning before getting sunlight exposure. Excess exposure to sunlight can ruin the cleansing effect.

Choose the appropriate crystal for each chakra as explained above for best results.

Before placing the crystals on chakras, perform a normal Reiki session.

Cleanse all the crystals after each chakra session. You can also cleanse the crystals by making master symbol over each crystal and on the palm and then hold the crystal and close your hand for five minutes. During this process imagine that Reiki is cleaning the crystal. You can also cleanse the crystals and dip them into a bowl of saltwater, make the master symbol and Reiki the bowl for five minutes. Keep the crystals in for another 20 minutes.
